Great piece!! I too never knew of the phrase “breadcrumbing” until I read a book about modern dating by comedian Aziz Ansara. Then I realized how much it’s happened to me over the many years I’ve been dating. The author is spot-on correct: we ARE all worth more than little bits and pieces of communication here and there, and we deserve more than half-baked so-called “relationships” that aren’t really relationships.
