I hear ya!! I’ve been told this for, well, several years now and I’m never quite sure how I feel about it. On one had it’s somewhat flattering (depending on the source, his perceived intentions toward me, and the facial expression of same when he says it) On the other hand I’m like, “So seriously, what DOES (insert my age at the time) really look like?” So depending on who’s saying it I sometimes am insulted. I think, “ Why can’t you simply say that I’m attractive/cute/hot or that I look good, and leave it at that, without bringing “my age" into it.

When I was younger I craved make attention a lot more than I do now at 50-something. Most men in the world (as you said in another of your articles, with which I agree) just aren’t right for me. Apparently not having a deep-seated craving for attention is what draws men to women like bees to flowers!! Oh well ..

Good article!!!
