You aren’t the only one who doesn’t understand, though I’m sure you know that. Years ago I made a comment that “there are many men who, instead of complaining about this or that aspect of their girlfriend/significant other, should probably offer up worship and thanks, plus a sacrifice to Eros and the goddess Venus for having her.” That because women sometimes put up with a lot of crap — or a relationship that is “less than" — to keep a man in her life. Sad but true. Helps answer the “why does she stay with the total loser” question. Low self esteem may have something to do with it. Just a thought. (P.S. love the part about the sea slugs, LMAO!!)
